Super Spars gnav and centre main for Mirror
Thursday, February 15th, 2007
Super Spars new gnav fitting has now been succesfully tested for use on the Mirror and will be launched at the 2007 Dinghy Show. The fitting has been developed in partnership with the Mirror Class Association to open up more space in the boat and to improve safety, especially for juniors. The gnav is the first in a new range of gnavs - more later.
Super Spars have also developed a centre main fitting for the Mirror which be used separately or in conjunction with the gnav. The advantages are that:
- the crew is sitting in a more natural position
- it relieves stress on the back
- other boats use a centre main so it helps in transitioning to youth training boats
- RYA teaching focuses on the centre main
“Super Spars, as you would expect, have again come up with a highly professional ‘Adaption Kit’ for the Centremain and Gnav -which I’m sure will prove the fast way to go this season.” says Jeremy P Pudney - Mirror Chairman.
